I am sure your calculations are more accurate than my seat of the pants feel. Also, as you point out, cooler temps allow ECU to increase timing w/o fear of detonation. So I think some of what we are feeling is a remapping of the power curve with more hp coming in at the top of the curve. Gotta love the gift of turbo boost... it just keeps on giving.
